Minnaar
An original artwork created by Steven Minnaar.
Minnaar Acquisition Program (M.A.P.)
The systematic collection of prints, Sovereigns, Fish, Ships, and Impressions that can later be exchanged towards Minnaars of higher value within the collection.
Minnaar Bitcoin Treasure
A treasure containing over 1 full bitcoin which can be claimed by trading Minnaars, collecting the 24 words, and being the first to put them in the right combination.
Minnaar Dividends
Minnaar Dividends are the non-monetary, personal benefits a collector receives from owning and enjoying a Minnaar artwork—such as beauty, inspiration, meaning, and pride of ownership. Rooted in the Austrian Economics concept of psychic profit, these dividends represent the subjective value a person gains through aesthetic and philosophical satisfaction, independent of resale or financial return.
In other words, while others chase capital gains, Minnaar collectors earn dividends in joy, peace, and purpose—every time they look at their work. Minnaars are not an investment. They are the reward.
The Goose That Lays The Golden Eggs
A Gold Minnaar is like the goose that lays golden eggs—for each one you own, you receive a free Minnaar every December for the rest of Steven’s life.
These hand-minted, 24k gold Minnaars are 31 mm in diameter, weigh one troy ounce, and are among the rarest gold coins in the world.
They are available by special order only, and Steven mints just a one each year.
Token/Digital Certificate of Authenticity
A digital certificate that verifies the authenticity and provenance of a Minnaar. It is recorded on the Liquid Blockchain and ensures collector confidence.
Collector’s Forum
A community space where collectors can buy, sell, or trade Minnaars with one another and participate in the living economy.
Exchangeable
Each Minnaar can be traded at any time for another of equal value from Steven Minnaar’s collection, creating liquidity, opportunity, and engagement within the collector community.
Gold / Silver
Tangible hard assets used as a pricing standard for Minnaars. These metals offer lower volatility than fiat currency and hold appeal for collectors seeking long-term value preservation.
Bitcoin
A decentralized digital currency with a fixed supply. Used as one of the acceptable assets for acquiring Minnaars, alongside gold and silver.
Fiat Money
Government-issued currency not backed by a physical commodity like gold or silver. Often subject to inflation and value erosion over time.
Sovereign
An individual who values and respects life, liberty, property, personal responsibility, and voluntary exchange.
Sovereign Declaration
A signed print of the “Sovereign Declaration” written by Steven Minnaar. It affirms a personal philosophy rooted in non-aggression, autonomy, and voluntary relationships.
Autarchy
The principle of self-rule—governing one’s own life while respecting the life, liberty, and property of others. A foundational idea behind the Minnaar Project. See Autarchy
Treasure Hunt
A gamified experience built into the Minnaar economy. Select Minnaars contain hidden seed words for a 24-word phrase that unlocks a secret bitcoin wallet. No one, not even Steven, knows the solution.
The World’s Most Expensive Artwork
A unique sculpture made from 100 crayons fractionalized into 100,000,000 pieces priced at 1 oz. gold each.
Each piece comes in a laminated card that includes 1 of the 24 words to the Bitcoin Treasure.
