Every 1,000 Bitcoin blocks that end with “777” (referred to as “Minnaar Time,” which occurs approximately every 7 days), I check the price of bitcoin and memorialize it on a painting. The paintings are then added to the “Battle Royale” series in the collection. This series tracks the battle for value between bitcoin and the dollar every 1,000 blocks by recording the block time, date, and USD price of one bitcoin directly on a new painting.
NOTE: I have suspended this series once we crossed $100,000. I may resume it when we get near $1,000,000 per bitcoin.
