Every 1,000 Bitcoin blocks that end with “777” (referred to as “Minnaar Time,” which occurs approximately every 7 days), I check the price of bitcoin and memorialize it on a painting. If the US Dollar price contains “7”, “77”, or “777” (max) at that time, the painting is then assigned the matching silver value (7, 77, or 777 ounces). If there is no “7” in the price, the painting is assigned a silver value of 3 ounces. The paintings are then added to the “Battle Royal” series in the collection. This series tracks the battle for value between bitcoin and the dollar every 1,000 blocks by recording the block time, date, and USD price of one bitcoin directly on a new painting.
